What Are We Doing???

During the first part of our trip, we will be traveling with the Catalyst Foundation as part of their humanitarian aid expedition! Our teams will be building houses, conducting medical & dental exams, distributing food, school supplies and bikes to local families.

Our first stop will be Kien Giang, the province where Brianna was born! While we are there, we expect to visit the Kien Giang Orphanage and see where our story really started!

We will visit 3 provinces in the Mekong Delta region during this part of our trip. We expect the temperature to be at least 95 degrees and VERY humid!

In 1999, it took about 7 hours to travel from Saigon to Kien Giang by bus . . . it's probably about 120 miles south of Saigon! (It's about the distance from Milwaukee to Green Bay) They've since built an airport in Kien Giang and now it should be about a 30 minute trip!

After the aid portion of the trip is done it will be time for vacation. We will be heading north and visiting Hanoi & the Ha Long Bay areas. The weather will be cooler (probably 80 or 85 degrees). I've never been to either area, but I'm told that the northern part of the country and the southern part are still 2 different worlds. I'll let you know!
