Okay, it’s been a little silent on this side of the world mainly due to technological issues! But, the week has been fabulous!
The Catalyst Foundation 2008 Aid Expedition consists of three teams. The Home Team is building and renovating houses. The medical team is conducting both medical and dental exams, and the Distribution Team is visiting schools and distributing food to many families in need.
When I adopted Brianna in 1999, we took a van to the Kien Giang province because of the lack of airport! There have been many changes to the area including the addition of an airport, but because of the large number of volunteers this year, we had to split the group up to travel to Kien Giang over 2 days since we wouldn’t all fit on the plane. To say the least, Brianna & I volunteered to vacation on Phu Quoc Island the first day!
